Iranian minority in the US
Iranians are one of the most successful and professionally-active groups. One of the main goals, of our NGO, is to engage the Iranian community to rise above the image of the leaders of Iran, not in words, but through tangible deeds and actions.
Our Medical mission is the brainchild of Ghazal Omid, Dr. Pishdad, Dr. Inna Kost and our Web Designer from Blackstone Audio, located in Oregon.
Iranfuture.org is an efficiently NGO, using innovative tools and ideas to cross paths with many individuals. We are a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, inner faith company, and care about the quality of our goals and dreams, rather than the quantity. We understand not everyone fights for causes in exactly the same way, or with the same degree of passion.
Our objective is to engage with the Iranian community and non-Iranians, on a human level, and for us to work alongside one another to bring down the walls of ignorance.
The Board of Iranfuture.org saw a clear opportunity, arising out of our current health care debates, within the United States, and we wanted to make a loud, clear statement about how US Iranians can contribute to the cause.
Our idea is to engage Medical professionals living and working in Iranian communities, to become more active in the daily lives of ordinary US citizens, who are in need of medical support, to implement a process wherein Iranians separate themselves away from the destructive and dangerous images of the Government of Iran, by doing good works for our own and other people’s communities.
Without broadcasting or boasting of such deeds, we will show the American people that Iranians are truly worthy, who were once part of an ancient and proud culture - and US-based Iranians are more than merely being part of an ancient past history - rather, they are making history.
Ordinary Iranians and non-Iranians, alike, passionate about world peace are united, in our concern about the healthcare of Legal Immigrants and US citizens, who are all in need of medical care. In the US, approximately 90 % of the population have no dental care, so we start by asking Dr Pishdad, an outstanding Iranian dentist, and his college faculty, to participate in our pilot program, which, previously has been shown to produce positive results from a program of community-based good deeds. We have now expanded our partnership with tahirih.org
The pilot program supports our key objectives, so the next step in our work, will be to introduce this extraordinary doctor, and others, to join us in the Media.
We are asking healthcare professionals to receive patients vetted through NGOs in the District of MD, DC, or VA, and step forward to join us. Our responsibility, although heavy, is shared by many other NGOS.
Iranfuture.org is a ‘bridge of communication’ as an example of how effective community ‘good deeds are, which proceed on many levels.
We have other NGO partners to provide patients-in-need, and to locate doctors willing to help us, who feel passionate about raising the profile of the US-based Iranian community.
We will organize visits from patients-in-need in an orderly, effective manner, for both doctor and patients to benefit, and conduct follow-up calls with Doctors and ensure they are happy with the efficiency of our patient referral system. We will offer the option of providing volunteers to accompany patients being referred.
And we can give more than just tax credits to the doctors who kindly provide their time and service.
Each doctor will be linked, to our website’s Medical mission, for others to see how small deeds add up to a powerful force for good and how each kind gesture reverberates across the land.
